Since Oak Tree was formed in 2002 we've never stopped growing so we're always looking for new people to join our team.

What's the job?
Devanning is the term for unloading product from containers. Oak Tree has contracts with many major logistics and freight companies to do this work.

The work involves getting in with a team mate, working together to hand unload the product onto pallets, shrink wrapping and forklifting the product, and completing the job... as fast as possible.

We load containers as well and have some contracts to provide casual labour and forklift drivers.

What's the pay like?
You'll be paid on a contract rate per container. You can earn the equivalent of $13.75 - $20.00 per hour depending on the product and how efficient you are.

What skills do I need?

• Physical Strength
• Reliability
• Neatness and Accuracy
• Attention to detail
• A forklift license definitely helps too

The most valuable asset you can have is reliability - the ability to arrive at work on time is also essential!

What else do I need?
You'll need steel capped boots. Your own transport to get to and from work is also essential.
